ABOUT
Graeme Brooke lives in Manningtree with his wife and daughters. He works in the software industry as a Quality Assurance Engineer for iCareHealth (http://icarehealth.co.uk/) in Haverhill.
Attended Harwich School between 1975 & 1980, before working at the Royal London Insurance in Colchester and then Bank of New York Mellon in Brentwood.
He has been a season ticket holder at Ipswich Town since 1974 and has followed the team home and abroad, winning the Superfan title in 1984 along the way.
Brother of author, Keith Brooke (who also writes under the name Nick Gifford), he has always felt that he has had a book in him and "Adventures Of A Tractor Boy" is the result of a project started over 10 years ago, concluded in early 2014.
Since his daughter Leah was born 8 weeks prematurely in September 2005, a longstanding ambition has been to raise some money for Colchester Hospital Special Care Baby Unit to thank them for the care, support & dedication provided in those stressful times. Thankfully, Leah is now a happy & healthy 8 year old season ticket holder and Junior Blue.
Publication of this book is the realisation of a long time ambition and also the ability to raise some money for a worthy cause. I hope having read this web page you can support this venture and purchase a copy. I would also be really grateful if you could add a review of the book, however brief on the Amazon.co.uk page.
